AIChE - UIC
AIChE at UIC is the local student chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, a national organization with over 60,000 members. AIChE at UIC provides students in the Chemical Engineering Department, or, students interested in chemical engineering, a place within the University of Illinois at Chicago to learn more about the discipline through a variety of events and services.
Research
We offer resources and support to our student body, as well as, opportunities to apply learning and leadership skills. We host a variety of events such as: social events, volunteer/outreach, networking/mixers, plant and company tours, research seminars, and career development workshops throughout the year. We attend both the National and Regional AIChE Student Conferences and will be competing in the ChemE Car Competition this year. We strive to provide a space welcoming to all students and invite you to be a part of our growing community!!
